Theoretical and practical training

Master's Programme Curriculum

Since 2002 we have been training biomedical professionals in vascular and non-vascular IR techniques. One intensive year of training, combining online theory with three weeks of hands-on practice, Dry-Labs and lectures delivered by leading national and international experts.

Theoretical training

The e-learning system, based on a virtual environment with no physical attendance, requires students to drive their own learning process and manage their own time. A high degree of student commitment and the highest level of interactivity are therefore essential.

Solving clinical cases will present students with real-life problems. Group discussions will be held in the forums, the virtual meeting place for students, lecturers and tutors. There, questions will be answered, knowledge will be broadened and techniques will be discussed.

Hands-on

Practical teaching is face-to-face and compulsory. It takes place at the Minimally Invasive Techniques Unit of the University of Zaragoza, using simulators, biomodels and laboratory animals, with maximum student–lecturer interaction.

It is delivered by specialists and guided and organised by the tutors.
